Robert Lauber, Superintendent of Kinnikinnick School District #131

I am the Superintendent of a 1750 student elementary school district in Winnebago County. My Board of Education is interested in converting to a unit school district that would provide an initial high school enrollment of 800 students and a total K-12 enrollment of 2,550. As I read the Preliminary Report, however, there is no mention of single district conversion with reorganization incentives. We respectfully submit that this provision be considered for inclusion in the language provided all other criteria are met.
