Registration for the Eighth Annual Conference on Best Practices in Nonpublic Special Education Programs is now open!
We are extremely excited for the outstanding array of presentations that we hope you will find informative and insightful. Please see the “Schedule-at-a-Glance” and "Session Abstracts" for a reference. This event has continued to grow over the last six years. We encourage early registration to reserve your seat at the Conference. We hope to see you in November!
Here are some of this year’s highlights:
Joshua Schneider will kick-off the conference on Thursday morning with a keynote presentation on Development of a Motivational Culture.
Break-out sessions will review the latest in special education trends, school “program and policy” sessions, services, legal issues, public perspectives, and the latest in clinical updates. Sessions will be led by nonpublic administrators, other leaders in the field of education, researchers, and Illinois State Board of Education staff. Please see the “Schedule-at-a-Glance” for more information.
- Social Hour
This year’s conference will feature a networking event sponsored by the Illinois Association of Private Special Education Centers (IAPSEC) and the National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC). ). Participants will be able to schedule meet-ups during the social hour through our mobile application. Details will be provided to all participants.
If you require a room for overnight accommodations, we have reserved a limited block of rooms at the Hilton Oak Lawn (800-315-1058). Please make your reservations and request the “Illinois State Board of Education” rate of $129. Please note that this rate is only available until October 13, 2014.
The registration fee is $150 per participant. Presenters may register at the reduced fee of $80.
