Training ScheduleAll Illinois Alternate Assessment students in grades 3, 5, 6 and 8 must participate in the new writing assessment pilot test that will be administered October 16-22, 2006. The following information is to alert teachers and administrators to the dates for the training of this new assessment. The new IAA is very different from the portfolio process and we encourage teachers to attend these workshops in order to be better prepared for this new test. Registration information is forthcoming.
