September 27, 2006Kindergarten Flow Chart – Guidance for the ACCESS screener – W-APTThe information flow chart - that can be found at: http://www.isbe.net/bilingual/pdfs/kindergarten_w-apt.pdf - is to provide guidance to districts after using the ACCESS Screener, the W-APT, to determine eligibility for TBE/TPI or ELL services. The scores obtained from students entering Kindergarten and new first grade students tested in the first semester of the school year, will determine whether services need to be provided.
