IAA Regional Fall Training Reminder

The Fall IAA Pilot trainings being held Aug. 28 through Sept. 7 are the ONLY trainings that ISBE will hold this year for the IAA. There will not be another round of trainings prior to the Spring 2008 Operational test in reading, mathematics, science and writing. Private schools will not participate in the Pilot, but they will participate in the Spring 2008 Operational test.

To assist teachers and Coordinators, ISBE will post a new training video and PowerPoint in late August on the IAA Web site at www.isbe.net/assessment/iaa.htm

TO REGISTER FOR A TRAINING SESSION:

Go to www.pearsonaccess.com/il
Under the heading "Training Registration" click the GO link
The training summary will be displayed, to register you will need to select the sub-tab at the top of the page titled REGISTER
You will need the RCDTS code for your district to register.

LOCATIONS and TIMES:

Each location will have two sessions; 8:30 - 11:30 am and 12:30 - 3:30 pm
Every single session will cover the same agenda

August 28- Whittington, IL
August 29- Belleville, IL
August 30- Decatur, IL
August 31- Chicago (North side)
August 31- Chicago (South side)
September 5- Rockford, IL
September 6- Northbrook, IL
September 7- Lisle, IL
