January 24, 2007ACCESS for ELLs Technical workshopSAVE THE DATEACCESS for ELLs FROM A TECHNICAL PERSPECTIVEFEBRUARY 21, 2007 The Student Assessment Division of ISBE in collaboration with the Illinois Principals Association will be holding an informational forum led by the psychometrician from the Center for Applied Linguistics in Washington, D.C. and a representative from the Central Office of the WIDA Consortium. They will present an executive summary of the published research from the Technical Manual for the ACCESS for ELLs® assessment instrument providing pertinent commentary related to the findings. Who should attend? District personnel responsible for analyzing school and district performance data and its relationship to ELL academic performance, data system managers, central and school site administrators and the District staff member responsible for coordination and over-sight of ELL services.
