Good Afternoon.  The fact sheet on student assessment changes that was included in the message I sent earlier today contained an error.  The statement about writing (second subpoint under the first bullet) should have indicated that the proposed changes will “increase writing assessment so that students in grades 3, 4, 6 and 8 are assessed (now grades 3, 5 and 8)”

 

The earlier version inadvertently indicated that writing would be assessed in grade 9 rather than grade 8.
