Elizabeth I. Lewin, Chairperson
Lewin received her Ed.D. from the University of Sarasota, Florida in 1997. As an educator, Dr. Lewin has served in a variety of teaching and administrative positions at the elementary, secondary and post secondary levels. Her previous administrative responsibilities include: director of the Learning Center at the St. Louis Community College (Forest Park Campus); high school principal at Edwardsville Community Unit School District 7; and superintendent at Carbondale Elementary School District 95. She is currently a clinical professor at the SIU, Department of Educational Administration.

Manul Goins
Received his Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1985 through the department of Educational Administration and Leadership. During twenty plus years as a superintendent, he served Giant City, Elverado, and Anna school districts before retiring from Carterville Unit #5 in 1999. In retirement, he continues to serve as trustee, and current Board Secretary, for Shawnee Community College. Additionally, Dr. Goins serves as Field Ambassador
and Board Member Emeritus for the National Beta Club. He has served on the Cairo FOP since November 2010.
John Williams
Retired Assistant Superintendent for Business from Carbondale Elementary School District 95.
Mr. Williams’ previous experience includes Director of Special Education and Principal at Carbondale Elementary District 95. Superintendent, Principal, Teacher, Athletic Director, Athletic Coach and Bus Driver at Glendale CCSD 160.
He has been a member of numerous boards and currently a member of the Illinois Association of School Business Officials. Mr. Williams received his Bachelor of Science in Social Studies, Master of Science in Educational Administration and Specialist Degree in Educational Administration all from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Mr. Williams resides in Carbondale, Illinois and began serving on the FOP June 29, 2012.
