Douglas Parks, Chair
Dr. Douglas Parks has been in the education
field for over 41 years. He received a Bachelor of Science
degree from Emporia St. Teacher's College, Emporia
KS, a Master of Science degree from the University of Missouri-KC,
and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of
Missouri-KC. Major accomplishments include development of
a long range strategic plan for Aptakisic School District,
establishment of a positive relationship between the Board
of Education and School District's administrative team
and teaching personnel. Dr. Parks assisted SEDOL administrative
staff, the executive board and leadership with establishing
a value system that recognizes the right of all students
to be educated in neighborhood schools regardless of their
handicapping condition.

Bish Krywko
Mr. Krywko has lived in Round Lake for
seven years and currently has a son who attends Round Lake
High School. Another son graduated previously from Round lake
High School.
Krywko is president of Checker Services Inc., a subsidiary
of Checker Taxi Association. Both firms provide financial,
insurance and dispatching services to the taxi transportation
industry in the Chicago land area. The parent Checker is the
largest such association in the Midwest, with over 1,400 members.

George Lingel
Lingel, who has served as a member of
the SFA since the group was formed in August 2002, recently
retired from Palatine School District 15 where he was Assistant
Superintendent for Business and Auxiliary Services. He is
a former director of the Illinois Association of School Business
Officials and previously served several school districts in
the business office and as a teacher.

Rosa Reyes-Prosen
Rosa Reyes-Prosen holds a management
position, in the field of social services, for a not-for-profit
organization. She is also on the advisory board for the Latino
Coalition and Education Committee for Congressman Mark Kirk.
Reyes-Prosen previously was on the College of Lake County
Board of Trustees.

Robert M. Traxler
Traxler retired from the United States
Army with the rank of major. He holds a bachelor's degree
in criminal justice from St. Leo College and has completed
several courses at Webster College in pursuit of a master's
degree in public administration. For the past eight years,
he has served on the Round Lake Beach Planning and Zoning
Commission, currently serving as its recording secretary.
Traxler will serve the remainder of the three-year term.
