The Illinois State Board of Education will hold its monthly Board meeting on
Wednesday, August 20 beginning at 11 a.m.

Following the discussion, the Board will go into closed session under the exceptions set forth in the open meetings act of the State of Illinois as follows:

Section 2 (c) (1) for the purpose of discussing information regarding appointment, employment, or dismissal of an employee; and

Section 2 (c) (11) for the purpose of discussing litigation.
